Overnight Ramp Closures at Multiple I-66 Interchanges, January 16-21, for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project
FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours next week at the following I-66 interchanges as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Details include:
Monday, January 17, through Thursday, January 20
Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, stay to the right to I-495 South, then follow signs to I-66 West.
Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 East
The ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. each night for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 East, travel about one mile, then follow signs to I-66 East.
Tuesday night, January 18, through Friday night, January 21
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 50 West
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. each night for sound wall work. Traffic will be directed to continue farther west to Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) South, stay to the right to I-66 East, then follow signs to Route 50 West.
Thursday night, January 20, and Friday night, January 21
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 50 East
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. each night for road construction. Traffic will be detoured to Route 50 West, exit to Route 608 (West Ox Road) South, then stay to the right to Route 50 East.
