Cabells Mill Drive Daytime Closures in Centreville May 22 & 23
Detour in place during stormwater pipe replacement
CENTREVILLE – Cabells Mill Drive (Route 970) between Walney Road (Route 657) and Northbourne Drive will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Monday, May 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Cabells Mill Drive will have access; however, traffic will not be able to turn from or onto Walney Road.
Traffic will be detoured via Walney Road, Poplar Tree Road (Route 4831), Stringfellow Road (Route 645) and Northbourne Drive back to Cabells Mill Drive. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
