Clifton Road Daytime Closures in Fairfax Station May 31 & June 1
Detour in place during stormwater pipe replacement

FAIRFAX STATION – Clifton Road (Route 645) between Wolf Run Shoals Road (Route 610) and Route 123 (Ox Road) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 1 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach properties along Clifton Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (near 7772 Clifton Road between Winners Circle and Route 123) in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Clifton Road, Wolf Run Shoals Road, Henderson Road (Route 643) and Route 123 back to Clifton Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
