Fairfax Station Road Daytime Closures in Clifton May 15-18
Detour in place during stormwater pipe replacement
CLIFTON – Fairfax Station Road Road (Route 660) between Newman Road (Route 5590) and Colchester Road (Route 612) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Monday, May 15 through Thursday, May 18 between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Fairfax Station Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (12408 Fairfax Station Road) in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Newman Road and Colchester Road back to Fairfax Station Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
