I-66 Eastbound Nightly Right Lane Closures at North Lincoln Street in Arlington April 16 & 17
Update: Right lane closed night of April 18 from North Utah Street to North Lincoln Street
Update: The eastbound I-66 right lane will be closed from the North Utah Street overpass to the North Lincoln Street overpass between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 19 for bridge painting-related work.
ARLINGTON – The eastbound I-66 right lane at the North Lincoln Street overpass will be closed, weather permitting, between 9:30 p.m. Sunday, April 16 and 5 a.m. Monday, April 17, and 9:30 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 18 to place barriers along the right shoulder for bridge painting work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Along eastbound I-66, North Lincoln Street is the last overpass before the Route 29/Spout Run Parkway (Exit 72) off-ramp, which will remain open to traffic.
Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling in active work zones. Be alert to new traffic patterns and limit distractions.
