Overnight Closure of Route 50 West Over I-66 Scheduled Tonight, Tuesday, July 18, for Paving
UPFATE (7/19/2023): An additional night has been added for this work. Route 50 West will be closed over I-66 on Thursday, July 20, between midnight and 5 a.m.
FAIRFAX – Route 50 West will be closed from the ramp to I-66 East to the ramp to the Fair Oaks Mall entrance during the overnight hours tonight, Tuesday, July 18, between midnight and 5 a.m. for paving. This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Traffic will be directed to I-66 East, exit to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) North, stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 West, then follow signs to Route 50 West.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled to tomorrow night if inclement conditions occur.
