Rector Lane Daytime Closures in McLean October 2-5
Detour in place during stormwater pipe replacement
MCLEAN – Rector Lane (Route 760) between Alvord Street and Old Dominion Drive (Route 738) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Monday, Oct. 2 through Thursday, Oct. 5 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Rector Lane will have access; however, drivers and bicyclists will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (near 1069 Rector Lane immediately south of Springhaven Garden Lane) in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Rector Lane, Old Dominion Drive, Spring Hill Road (Route 684), Lewinsville Road (Route 694) and Brook Road (Route 760) back to Rector Lane. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
