Route 50 West at Fair Oaks Mall Ramp North of I-66 Scheduled to Close During Overnight Hours Tonight, May 18, for Paving
UPDATE (5/19/2023): Route 50 West will be closed two additional nights at the ramp to Fair Oaks Mall just past the exit to I-66 West. The roadway will be closed tonight, Friday, May 19, and Sunday night, May 21, from midnight to 4 a.m.
FAIRFAX – Route 50 West will be closed at the ramp to Fair Oaks Mall just past the exit to I-66 West during the overnight hours tonight, Thursday, May 18, from midnight to 4 a.m. for paving. This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Traffic will be directed to exit to I-66 West, exit to Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) North, then continue north and follow signs to Route 50 East or West. The ramp from I-66 West to Route 50 West will remain open.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
