JOIN VDOT FOR A PUBLIC MEETING ON HUGUENOT BRIDGE PEDESTRIAN LIGHTING IN HENRICO COUNTY
Public invited to learn more about proposed sidewalk lighting on October 9
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public meeting to discuss proposed pedestrian lighting on the Huguenot Bridge, located on Huguenot Road (Route 147) in Henrico County. Proposed improvements include installation of lighting along the bridge to illuminate the sidewalks. The proposed lighting will be installed along the sides of the structure.
The meeting will be held as an open forum on Wednesday, October 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Tuckahoe Elementary School, located at 701 Forest Avenue, Henrico, VA 23229. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until October 19 by mailing them to Adam Brooks, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to adam.brooks@vdot.virginia.gov. Please reference “Huguenot Bridge Pedestrian Lighting” in the subject line.
