VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON I-95 IMPROVMENTS IN CHESTERFIELD
Public invited to learn more about the proposed improvements on January 17
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on a project to improve I-95 north and south between Route 288 and Route 10 in Chesterfield County. The proposed project will add auxiliary travel lanes to improve safety and traffic flow, especially for merging traffic.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 17 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the VDOT Richmond District Office, located at 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until January 27 by mailing them to Scott Chapman, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to scott.chapman@vdot.virginia.org. Please reference “I-95 Auxiliary Lanes” in the subject line.
