INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS COMING SOON AT COUNTY DRIVE (ROUTE 460) AND BULL HILL ROAD (ROUTE 630) IN PRINCE GEORGE
Proposed modifications include adding left turn lanes and traffic signal modifications

SOUTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin construction on intersection improvements at County Drive (Route 460) and Bull Hill Road (Route 630) in Prince George County on March 24.

The purpose of the project is to modify the intersection by adding left turn lanes on both north and southbound Bull Hill Road at County Drive and make traffic signal modifications.

Anticipated traffic impacts for the duration of the project include lane closures in close proximity to the travel lanes. Drivers should pay careful attention to signage in and around the work zone and use caution when traveling in the area.

The total cost of the project is estimated at $3.1 million. Weather permitting, work is expected to be complete in November 2020.

Anyone with questions about the project can call (800) 367-7623 or visit https://my.vdot.virginia.gov/.
