TRAFFIC ALERT: WESTBOUND ROUTE 57 DETOURED IN HENRY COUNTY WEST OF BASSETT
Eastbound Route 57 traffic is shifted into the westbound lane
SALEM – Traffic on Route 57 (Fairystone Park Highway) in Henry County just west of Bassett is being impacted due to damage from recent prolonged rainfall.
Westbound Route 57 traffic is being detoured onto Route 666/Route 674 (Trenthill Drive).
Eastbound Route 57 traffic is shifted into the westbound lane around the damaged section of roadway.
The detour is expected to last throughout the weekend and into next week until Virginia Department of Transportation can complete repairs.
