TRAFFIC ALERT: FLASHING YELLOW ARROWS AND SIGNAGE INSTALLATION SCHEDULED ALONG ROUTE 221 IN ROANOKE NEXT WEEK
SALEM – During the week of March 30, flashing yellow arrow signals, a type of signal that allows permissive left turns, reflective backplates and updated signage to existing signals will be installed along Route 221 in Roanoke.
Weather permitting, the installation of flashing yellow arrow signals is expected to take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the following locations:
- Intersection of Route 221 at Ranchcrest Drive/Roselawn Road
- Intersection of Route 221 and Colonial Avenue
- Intersection of Route 221 at Pleasant Hill
Lane closures will be in place and law enforcement will control traffic through the intersection. Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the work zone and to expect delays.
