TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 603 IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY TO CLOSE FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
SALEM – Weather permitting, on July 13, Route 603 (North Fork Road) in Montgomery County will close for a bridge replacement over Flatwoods Branch.
Route 603 (North Fork Road) will be closed from the intersection of Route 713 to .01 miles south of the intersection of Route 647 (Ironto Road).
A detour will be in place for approximately five to six months and signs will direct traffic to use Route 713 (Flatwoods Road) and Route 622 (Reesedale Road) to navigate around the closed area of North Fork Road.
Message boards will alert drivers of the closure and local residents will need to access their home from either side of the closure.
The road is expected to reopen in December 2020.
