TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 606 (CALDWELL MOUNTAIN ROAD) IN CRAIG COUNTY REOPENS TO TRAFFIC
SALEM – Route 606 (Caldwell Mountain Road) in Craig County has reopened to traffic today, May 5, a day earlier than anticipated.
Route 606 (Caldwell Mountain Road) has been closed for a pipe replacement since April 6. It was closed from the intersection of Route 612 (Patterson Creek Road) to the Botetourt County line.
While crews continue to work in the area, lane closures will be in place. Drivers should use caution in the work zone.
Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed in the next few weeks.
