EASTBOUND I-64 REOPENS IN ALLEGHANY COUNTY

STAUNTON – (12:30 p.m.) The left lane of eastbound Interstate 64 has reopened in Alleghany County following a Wednesday morning crash involving two tractor trailers near mile marker 25. The detour at exit 24 (Clifton Forge) has been lifted. The right lane of eastbound I-64 remains closed due to cleanup operations, and motorists should be alert for potential delays in this area.
