Description:

The consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) section provides statewide CEI program management support services.  This includes:

  1. Coordination with Consultant Procurement Office for statewide program development and implementation
  2. Negotiation of district-wide term and project specific CEI contracts
  3. Monitoring CEI contracts statewide
  4. Contract administration support/training

Goals:

  1. To provide statewide access to skilled consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection staff to support VDOT construction projects.  
  2. To promote consistent administration of CEI contracts statewide.
